Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking a location-based driver to operate sprayers and trucks for applying crop inputs and maintaining equipment. You will perform pre-trip inspections, record application data, and ensure compliance with pesticide labels and DOT standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid CDL within one year, a clean driving record, and willingness to obtain necessary licenses. It is a full-time position with extended hours as needed and field condition flexibility.

Qualifications

• Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a CDL License within 1 year of employment.
• Must possess a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a pesticide/applicator’s license or any other licenses and certifications necessary to the position.
• Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

• Accurately & professionally applies crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates and labels.
• Records application data according to regulations and standards.
• Safely sets up, maintains and operates sprayers, floaters, trucks and other equipment to meet standards.
• Performs daily safety checks of assigned vehicle(s) and equipment with pre-trip inspections.
• Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials safely on/off trucks, trailers, or railcars.
• Ensures products are evenly balanced and distributed on trucks/trailers and axle weights meet requirements.
• Assist with inventory control and enter application records daily; ensure product is accounted for via invoice/delivery ticket.
• Follows maintenance program and keeps equipment clean and presentable.
• Complies with Code of Conduct, safety policies, and DOT requirements.
