University of Missouri in Albany, MO seeks a Field Specialist in Human Development for the Health & Human Sciences Extension to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs across Northwest Missouri and statewide as needed.

The 12-month, ranked, non-tenure track appointment places you at 90% Extension Teaching and 10% Traditional Service with opportunities to collaborate with campus specialists and serve diverse communities. A PhD or Master’s degree is required at appointment time.

Qualifications

• Earned PhD or master’s degree at time of appointment.
• Ability to translate research into educational programs for parenting, family strengthening, mental health awareness, adolescence, aging and/or early childhood care and education.
• Experience in youth and/or adult education is preferred.
• Demonstrated administrative and leadership experience managing resources and leading projects.

Responsabilités

• Educate through research-based programs for Missourians across counties.
• Create educational products and services, curricula, publications, and demonstrations.
• Connect with stakeholders, partner organizations, and community leaders to expand reach.
• Collaborate with campus-based specialists on projects and disseminate findings.
