Job summary

NOV is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor in West Texas to lead solids control and field operations across demanding drilling environments. You will troubleshoot equipment, develop technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced field settings.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in oilfield operations and 2–5+ years of direct solids control equipment experience, with strong leadership, scheduling, and field communications skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of oilfield/field operations experience preferred.
  • 2–5+ years of direct solids control equipment experience REQUIRED.
  • Proven experience as a Lead Operator, Field Supervisor, Solids Control Supervisor, Service Supervisor, or Senior Field Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the field and supervise crews of field operators and technicians.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field-service equipment problems in demanding drilling environments.
  • Train, coach, and develop technicians to improve performance and safety.
  • Communicate with customer representatives and rig personnel to ensure service quality and accountability.
  • Schedule crews, assign daily work, and monitor performance to drive accountability.
  • Oversee equipment installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
