Oilfield Operations | Solids Control | Field Leadership | Travel
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor with strong solids control, field operations, technical troubleshooting, and crew leadership experience. This position requires someone who can lead from the field, solve equipment problems, develop technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service in demanding drilling environments.
- 5+ years of oilfield/field operations experience preferred
- 2–5+ years of direct solids control equipment experience REQUIRED
- Proven experience as a Lead Operator, Field Supervisor, Solids Control Supervisor, Service Supervisor, or Senior Field Technician
- Strong experience leading field operators and technicians
- Ability to schedule crews, assign daily work, monitor performance, and drive accountability
- Hands-on experience operating, inspecting, servicing, and troubleshooting solids control equipment
- Strong working knowledge of shale shakers, centrifuges, mud systems/tanks, pumps, and associated equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical equipment problems
- Working knowledge of VFD programming and troubleshooting
- Strong commitment to HSE, safe work practices, and operational procedures
- Experience conducting rig surveys, field inspections, equipment setup checks, and job-site evaluations
- Ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop field operators and technicians
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate directly with customer representatives and rig personnel
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve field service and equipment issues
- Experience coordinating upcoming field work with shop and operations personnel
- Understanding of scheduling, invoicing, billing, and field-service documentation
- Basic proficiency with Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Willing and able to travel supporting international travel assignments
- Comfortable working extended periods away from the Odessa area when operational requirements demand it
- Permian Basin / West Texas oilfield experience
- Previous international oilfield or field-service experience
- Strong background supporting drilling and rig-site operations
- Experience managing multiple operators/technicians across active field locations
- Proven track record of customer service and relationship management
- Experience overseeing equipment installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-demand field environments
