Job summary

NOV is seeking a Service Technician to deliver hands-on field service, installation, operation, and maintenance of solids control equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliable technical support, and maximizing equipment performance for customers.

The technician will perform rig ups/downs, troubleshooting and repairs, while maintaining clear communication with supervisors and customers. A valid driver license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid State Driver License required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Must stand, bend, push, pull, and walk for 8-10 hrs per day.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and have a valid Driver License.
  • Demonstrate good work habits and willingness to learn.
  • Possess excellent rig etiquette and ability to train others when needed.
  • Positive attitude and readiness to perform general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Complete rig ups/rig downs, troubleshoot and repair as needed for solids control equipment.
  • Recognize different pieces of solids control equipment and operate them safely.
  • Attend required safety trainings and maintain proper rig etiquette.
  • Complete rental agreements, field delivery tickets and daily reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers on site.
  • Perform general labor tasks as required.
  • For all levels, support field service activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
