MARS Builder Solutions in Escondido, CA is hiring a Full Time Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential solar PV and battery storage systems in the field. You will diagnose electrical issues, perform inspections, document findings, train customers, and travel locally to homes and job sites, adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have solar PV troubleshooting experience, familiarity with battery storage, NEC knowledge, and a valid driver's license; NABCEP

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar PV and battery storage systems.
Perform service calls, inspections, warranty work, and preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot electrical, monitoring, communication, and production-related system issues.
Perform system testing and verification to ensure proper operation and performance.
Document service activities, findings, repairs, and recommendations accurately and completely.
Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices.
Maintain company safety standards and properly utilize required PPE at all times.
Safely operate company vehicles and maintain tools and equipment.
Travel locally to customer homes and job sites as needed.
Participate in on-call, emergency response, or after-hours service activities as required.
Other duties as assigned.
