Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in field, agricultural, environmental, or construction preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying sampling equipment and soil samples.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Basic ability to read maps, follow sampling plans, and record field data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations to collect soil samples.
• Follow established soil sampling procedures and sampling plans.
• Use hand tools, probes, augers, shovels, and other sampling equipment.
• Properly label, package, and preserve soil samples.
• Record sample locations, depths, conditions, and other field observations.
