Job summary

ANDRITZ seeks a Site Manager to lead on-site execution for turbine and generator projects in Charlotte, NC. You will direct installation, coordinate labor, manage safety, and ensure successful commissioning and field tests.

The role requires proven leadership on large, complex construction sites, strong communication, fluent English, OSHA/ISO knowledge, and willingness to travel and stay at distant locations for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in turbine/generator field work.
• Experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Proven leadership, effective communication and client management.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and contracts.
• Willingness to travel and live away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage site labor and subcontractors.
• Control labor hours and site costs.
• Coordinate site safety and environmental matters.
• Lead toolbox meetings and maintain site logs.
• Manage schedules and report to project managers.
• Maintain customer relations on site and handle change orders.
• Prepare documentation and reports of site conditions.
