Job Summary

This role involves repairing construction machines, diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, handling warranty reports, maintaining company assets, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and components, developing repair plans and sequences
• Determine required parts, materials, and tools
• Perform repairs safely and correctly, including quality testing
• Complete reports for parts, tooling, service, and work orders
• Communicate repair progress to supervisors
• Manage parts and tools through company systems
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D., or an Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology, or four years of apprenticeship experience. Technician classification depends on experience and competence.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, handle tools, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, and communicate effectively. The environment involves exposure to humidity, mechanical parts, fumes, weather conditions, and noise.
