This position is responsible for repairing construction machines, component assemblies, and parts in the shop and field. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, warranty reporting, maintaining company assets, and effective communication with team members.
High School Diploma or G.E.D., or an Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology, or four years of apprenticeship experience. Technician classification depends on experience, knowledge, and competence.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, lift, and communicate effectively. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, weather extremes, and vibration. Noise levels are moderate to loud.
