Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Setup Technician to perform critical unit installations and on-site field service across our customer sites. You will anchor, level, seam, install VAPS, and assemble stairs, ramps, and canopies, with additional duties including skirting and knock-downs for shipment.

You may perform electrical/plumbing tasks and customer modifications as needed. Strong carpentry skills, familiarity with construction trades, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are required.
• Good communication skills with customers, sales staff, contractors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Set up units including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps.
• Assist with skirting setup and removal as needed.
• Assist in building knock-downs for shipment and secure exterior walls and utilities.
• Provide electrical and plumbing service work on customer units.
• Implement customer modifications as requested.
• Complete Work Orders and Service Orders via Field Service App.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Possibly perform duties of Branch/Field Service Tech as needed.
• Foster good relationships with internal and external customers.
