Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Setup Technician to perform critical tasks for on-site unit setup, including anchoring, leveling, seaming, and VAPS installation. The role also covers removal, safety, and quality checks to ensure timely deliveries and high first-time quality for our customers.

Responsibilities include on-site construction tasks, field service work on customer units, and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades required.
Set-up and knockdown experience preferred.
Some experience with customer relationship management preferred.
Previous management experience or working with other trades is a plus.
Some knowledge of computers and good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Set-up units: anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, ramps and canopies.
Install/remove skirting as needed.
Knock-down duties: ship walls, secure exterior, disconnect utilities, prepare for shipment.
Perform service work on customer units (electrical/plumbing).
Make customer modifications and complete Work/Service Orders.
Maintain tools and equipment; assist Branch/Field Service Tech as needed.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
