Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Setup Technician to perform essential tasks for placing and preparing modular units, including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, and ramp setup. The role requires carpentry skills and a valid driver’s license, with CRM experience a plus.

You will also handle unit knock-down, utilities disconnection, and site safety while maintaining equipment and completing service orders. A strong customer- and team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades.
• Setup/knockdown experience preferred.
• Some CRM experience helpful; good communication with customers.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation for unit setup.
• Install/remove skirting as needed.
• Knock-down duties: ship walls, secure exterior, separate buildings, disconnect utilities, and prep for shipment.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work on customer units.
• Implement customer modifications as required.
• Complete Work Orders via Field Service Application.
• Maintain tools/equipment in good condition.
• May fill Branch or Field Service tech duties as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
