Job summary

Reworld is hiring for a hazardous materials technician to handle and package hazardous and non-hazardous materials across our nationwide network. You will operate pressure washers, hydro blast gear, forklifts, and vacuum equipment while maintaining accurate manifests and job summaries.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable), 21+ due to interstate travel, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 30% and potential overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ due to interstate travel and federal regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• 40 HR HAZWOP certification preferred; training provided if not obtained.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Must pass a respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Handle and package Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, and specialty vacuum equipment.
• Complete critical path documentation, including manifests and job summaries.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.
• Work in confined spaces and use various tools.
• Follow company policies, OSHA regulations, and local laws.
