Reworld is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Avon Lake, Ohio to support the cleanup and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will load and unload tanks and tankers, inspect equipment, and perform confined space entry at customer sites.

The role requires operating equipment per OSHA and company policies, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining a clean work environment. Travel up to 25% is possible, with training and safety requirements provided by Reworld.

Qualificações

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• GED Works program fully funded for employees.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other tools in line with company policies, OSHA rules, and laws.
• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Remove materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools and hand tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Act as a professional representative of Reworld at customer sites.
• Comply with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and complete required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the role

The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean-up and preparation for transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician I is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.

• Handling,packagingand transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
• Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 18.85 - 25.05 USD per hour
