Job summary

Zones, LLC is seeking a Field Services Technician to manage and support end-user devices at customer sites. Daily travel and on-site visits are required, with a flexible schedule and routine onboarding/offboarding activities.

You will deploy hardware and software, maintain printers, and coordinate with vendors. A strong customer-service background and technical aptitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• A+ certification.
• 5+ years of desktop/laptop hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to customers in the review, inventory, and procurement of end-user systems.
• Deploy end-user systems for new hires or system refreshes.
• Manage day-to-day operations of customers’ end-user systems and devices.
• Protect systems using customer-supplied anti-virus and anti-malware solutions.
• Handle destruction and disposal services, including Certificates of Destruction for end-of-life systems.
• Deploy software packages as specified by the customer.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers for printer-related issues.
• Maintain and manage customer network printers, including toner replacement and regular maintenance.
• Provide project management services for workstation- and printer-related projects.
• Maintain an inventory of workstations, peripherals, and printer devices.
• Observe customer onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Ensure availability of workstations and printers in accordance with SLAs.
