Overview

Field Service Technician – full-time. Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm seeking experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply. This position requires a high degree of travel.

Responsibilities

• Installation and termination of low voltage cabling
• Residential and Commercial network electronics wiring and troubleshooting
• Material management
• Travel
• Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
• Verify installed service by testing of equipment and cabling
• Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
• Conduct customer contacts completing site surveys
• Willingness to learn and perform various duties with Outside Plant

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or home construction is a plus, but not required
