Job summary

A Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician in Des Moines, Iowa. This role requires extensive travel and includes responsibilities such as the installation and termination of low voltage cabling, troubleshooting network issues, and conducting site surveys. Field Service Technician

Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm, seeking full-time Field Service Technicians.

PLEASE NOTE: Position requires a high degree of travel. We invite experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply.

Responsibilities

• Installation and termination of low voltage cabling
• Residential and Commercial network electronics wiring and troubleshooting
• Material management
• Travel
• Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
• Verify installed service by testing of equipment and cabling
• Perform troubleshooting & strive to resolve issues
• Conduct customer contacts completing site surveys
• Willingness to learn and perform various duties with Outside Plant
