Job Description

Here are some of the tasks that our field service technicians do each day:

• Perform minor maintenance, repairs, and component replacement at the module level.
• Maintain parts inventory and related records.
• Provide status reports throughout the service repair.
• Diagnose problems based on the information provided in the call and through error logs on the ATM.
• Take ownership of customer issues until resolution according to SLA agreements.
• Practice security safety procedures when working with ATMs and within financial institutions.
• Complete NCR-specific training and certifications.
• Accurately and promptly report calls and activities, along with other required reporting.

The position may require:

• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Prolonged travel based on your service area.
• Lifting or carrying tools and parts weighing 1-50 lbs.
• Working on a call-by-call basis or on a fixed schedule.
• Working on rotating shifts, nights, and weekends.

Preferred industry experience includes mechanical or hands-on work.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• A smartphone (Android or iPhone) to receive work orders and access documentation.
• Basic tools (flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, #1 and #2).

Required Skills and Availability:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call.
• High personal integrity and ability to work independently.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred qualifications include an associate degree and experience with NCR or similar equipment.

Note: Mileage is not reimbursable; include this in your pay rates. Location: Remote, Syracuse/Binghamton area, 5 days a week.
