Job summary

TCOM, L.P. is seeking a Field Services Technician to provide on-site support for deployed systems in Sioux Falls, SD.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, test plan development, and collaboration with engineering to drive small design projects from concept to production. The candidate should have an Associate’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in aviation or electrical/mechanical work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• 3+ years’ experience in aviation or electrical/mechanical preferred.
• Prior military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for deployed systems.
• Progressively contribute to the team and projects.
• Participate in department or division improvement activities.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify opportunities, as well as compliance and implementation issues.
• Develop, research, and recommend test procedures.
• Write test plans, procedures, conduct tests, and document results.
• With engineering assistance, facilitate minor design projects from concept to production.
• Define technical approaches and tasks for activities and minor projects.
• May perform similar duties in related areas as needed.
