Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking a Field Services Team Leader to guide a team of field technicians in construction materials testing on our South Daytona operations. You will oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and quality control, ensuring safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction while supporting project delivery and financial performance.

Ideal candidates have 4 years' related experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain basic certifications and any advanced certifications for the work performed.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Strong professional communication (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented and able to lead teams and manage priorities.
• Understand construction materials testing principles and standards.
• Coordinate field activities and staffing effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises a team of construction materials testing technicians.
• Manages day-to-day field operations including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensures projects are staffed with trained and qualified technicians.
• Promotes safety policies and proper PPE usage.
• Manages field equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory.
• Communicates daily with technicians, project managers, and contractors.
• Supports recruiting and staffing to maintain team levels.
• Reviews field reports for quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection as needed.
• Supports project managers and leadership with project execution.
• Participates in project meetings and client interactions.
• Supports business development and client relationships.
• May manage construction materials testing projects.
• Performs other leadership, operational, and technical duties as assigned.
