Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of related experience, including practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, field quality assurance testing, site grading, and supervising construction materials testing (CMT).
• Must have and be willing to maintain basic certifications.
• Advanced certifications may be required based on the work performed.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Expert understanding of construction materials testing principles, applications, and ASTM testing standards.
• Ability to determine appropriate testing methods and the ability to evaluate test results in terms of specification compliance.
• Strong understanding of construction materials testing and evaluation techniques.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors and to build a team.
• Knowledge of ECS systems and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee calibration of field equipment, maintain inventory, promote safety, and assist with safety training.
• Manage field services scheduling, ensure requests are met, review field reports, assist staff, attend site meetings.
• Supervise and mentor field services staff, ensure training, manage day-to-day operations and staffing.
