Job summary

SLB is seeking a Site Services Engineer to act as the primary on-site representative for data center construction projects across the United States. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure factory readiness, logistics support, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering fields (ME/EE/Industrial/Civil).
• Experience in hyperscaler data center construction or related fields.
• Background in field engineering, maintenance or quality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site SLB representative coordinating with Client, General Contractor, Sub-Contractors, Manufacturing Facility, and Operations.
• Deploy to project sites for 2–4 week assignments on rotating shifts.
• Manage on-site delivery, logistics documentation and parts coordination.
• Lead quality triage, assess SLB responsibility and drive resolution.
• Perform basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and supervise contractor actions.
• Maintain daily reporting and participate in cadence meetings.
• Support root cause investigations with SLB Quality and implement improvements.
• Ensure client satisfaction and timely factory readiness through proactive issue resolution.
• Adhere to HSE policies and keep safety training up to date.
