NETZSCH Instruments North America, LLC is the U.S. subsidiary of a well-established, mid-sized German company known for manufacturing and selling state-of-the-art instrumentation for Thermal Analysis, Calorimetry, and Thermophysical property measurement. We also operate Commercial Testing Services with facilities in Germany, the United States, and China.

We are the technological leader in our field, and our reputation for exceptionally high-quality products has established us as the market leader in Thermal Analysis throughout Europe and Asia. Due to continued growth in North America, we are expanding our field service team and seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer based in the Dallas Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of all supported instrument models and accessories.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support and on-site training as needed.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both remotely and in-person.
  • Accurately document service and repair activities through detailed reports and CRM system updates.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers before, during, and after service visits.
  • Promote service offerings, including service contracts and preventative maintenance plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent technical experience servicing laboratories or scientific instrumentation.
  • Previous experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong sense of customer service and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) across the U.S. and Canada.
  • A valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation.
