Job summary

Industrial Technical Services is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a variety of electrical/electronic labor tasks and servicing requests. The role requires diagnosing issues, repairing machinery, and maintaining equipment per diagrams and manuals.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of related experience and holds an Industrial Automation Training background or ET Card, with experience in 230/460 VAC and starters/AC motors.

Qualifications

• Industrial Automation Training or equivalent ET Card is required.
• 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Performs routine maintenance.
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
• Repairs machines, equipment, or structures.
• Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, or equipment.
• Orders parts, supplies, or equipment.
• Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
• Performs general cleaning duties of equipment in buildings or properties.
• Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
