Job summary

Munters invites applications for a Field Technician Development Program role in the United States. You will develop and run onboarding and ongoing training for Technicians, coordinating classroom and in-field sessions, including Munters Academy in Virginia.

Compensation Range: $50 hourly

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for development, implementation, and execution of Munters Field Technician Development Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage programs aimed at onboarding new hires and continuous growth and development for current Technicians.
• Work closely with Management to schedule in field or Munters Academy training to address onboarding and/or training needs.
• Closely evaluate and monitor Technician skillset.
• Provide detailed reports after each session for Munters records, management review and discussion for next steps in development.
• Continuously involved with program improvements that will lead to training enhancements and/or opportunities to better address Technician developmental needs.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Demonstrate skills necessary to Evaluate and Train Service Technicians in every area within their Roles and Responsibilities.
• Ability to multitask and exceptional organization skills
• Proven success with providing professional and courteous services in the field.
• Able to analyze technical competencies in order to identify strengths and weaknesses for improvement opportunities.
• Computer skills with Glovia, Astea, Word and Excel
• Extensive familiarity with Munters product; SyCool, Geoclima Chillers, AHU, Oasis, Delta 3, Delta Flow, and HM3
• Knowledge of:
• BOM structures, Wiring Schematics, and HVAC controls
• Basic understanding of application & product engineering practices
• Basic understanding of refrigeration, and Data Center cooling equipment.
• Munters Production Operations processes & procedures
• Intimately familiar with all Service policies, processes, & repair procedures

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Understand that Field Service's major role is one of timely responses to customers' needs and focus as part of a team to help us be prepared at all times to support customers' requests and needs.
• Travel required - based on new hire locations and projects within their region, as well as travel to the Munters Academy in Virginia to lead classroom and/or hands on training sessions based on scheduling and content.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years in Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC equipment with troubleshooting.
• Training and Presentation Experience
• Experience or exposure to lean concepts

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminals, expansive reading, etc.
• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
