Job summary

Atlantic Tractor LLC in Mechanicsville, MD, is seeking a Turf Tech / Mobile Small Engine Mechanic to diagnose and repair turf equipment at customer locations, including John Deere machinery. The role requires independent work, some supervision, and ongoing training through John Deere University and dealer programs.

Sign on Bonus: $5,000 (exp 8/31/26). Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions. Field service with potential for equipment delivery and customer clinics.

Qualifications

• Independently performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on turf equipment at customer locations.
• Ability to work in field at customer sites with some direction from leadership.
• Must stay current on John Deere and competitive products.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and competitive equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Provides delivery support as needed and participates in clinics.
• Documents diagnostics and repairs thoroughly on work orders and submits on time.
