Midwest Machinery Co. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products. You will work under supervision, applying knowledge of John Deere equipment and maintaining tools and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Basic service technician certification preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs using manuals and tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Keeps vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Maintains a neat work area and follows safety rules.
• Completes reports and forms for work assignments.
• Accounts for time and materials used on job tasks.
• May diagnose and repair in the field.
• Interacts positively with customers and teammates.
• Supports after-hours program and recruitment of service work.
• Shares knowledge with other technicians and maintains safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
