Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Charlotte, NC. This permanent, on-site role involves traveling to customer facilities to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service advanced profiling and cutting equipment.

A strong technician will diagnose complex issues and perform repairs with extensive training provided. The position emphasizes 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation and is offering a base salary of $75,000–$115,000 with OT opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience with complex machinery.
• Ability to travel extensively and work on-site at customer facilities.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, CNC, and automation issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, adjustments, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot machine controls, motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and related components.
• Document service calls, parts needs, and machine performance.
• Provide on-site support and training to operators and maintenance staff.
