Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a confidential manufacturing client in the Detroit metro area to hire a full-time Field Service Technician. The role requires frequent travel (90%+) across North America to service customer equipment and support projects.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, install equipment, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and provide after-hours support as needed. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic systems, heavy machinery, industrial presses, or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Willingness to travel 90%+ of the time, Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours support as needed.
