Field Service Technician - Transitioning Military Veterans

The ideal candidate - Transitioning Military Veterans with Electronic/Electromechanical training and experience.

Locations: Chicago, IL / Tampa, FL / Allentown, PA / Atlanta, GA (new locations added weekly).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Field Service Technician will contribute to the company's success by demonstrating technical expertise and interpersonal skills and providing superior service to our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
• Attend training and meetings as the leadership requires.
• Assist in office-based duties when not required to be in the field.
• Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the repair & troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to identify customer needs and match their solution with company products/services.
• Knowledge of industry and applications.
• Obtain and maintain PMMI certification (the company pays for this certification).
• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office.
• Ability to drive/fly to customer sites depending on location.
• Must have own, dependable vehicle and good driving record.
• Ability to conduct business in an ethical, successful manner.
• Self-motivated, strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth.
• Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Military technical training or Associate's degree or higher in Electronics or other related field. Military training in the following fields desired: Avionics, Electronics, Fire Control, Nuclear, Computer/IT, Electrical/Electrician.
• Working engineering and hands-on troubleshooting background are required. Skilled in installation, preventative maintenance, job start-up, and customer service skills.
