Job summary

FloWorks International LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in Baton Rouge, LA, to install, configure, and service flow control equipment at customer sites. The role involves reading blueprints and manufacturer instructions, providing on-site technical support, and coordinating repairs when needed.

The position requires knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems, plus experience with rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in flow control automation applications.
• Industrial electrical experience (controls).
• Industrial mechanical experience (rotating equipment).
• NCCER certification in multiple areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Install, set-up, and commission MOVs, AOVs, HOVs.
• Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
• Builds, tests, troubleshoot, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies.
• Evaluates performance and reliability of materials.
• Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.
• Learns and completes required training and certifications.

Job Information

Operates in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in flow control automation applications
• Applicable Industrial electrical experience (controls)
• Applicable Industrial Mechanical experience (rotating equipment)
• Applicable NCCER certified in multiple areas a plus

This role operates in a field environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
