Job summary

Power Electronics in the United States is seeking commissioning experts (technicians & engineers) to install, commission, diagnose, and repair heavy electrical equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot inverters, calibrate systems, monitor performance, and ensure safe, on-time field service.

Responsibilities include on-site startup of solar inverters, field diagnostics, inventory management, safety adherence, and travel to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with start-up and commissioning of solar inverters.
• Strong electrical aptitude and hands-on skills.
• Willingness to travel based on operations demands.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faulted inverters on field.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers' plants.
• Diagnose and repair faulted inverters on field and troubleshoot components.
• Prepare daily field reports documenting time and work.
• Manage inventory of parts for on-site work.
• Travel as required by operations.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Update software and hardware as needed.
• Attend warranty service tickets.
• Complete expense reports.
