Job summary

RWE Design Build in Tampa, FL is hiring a Service Technician to perform on-site service, warranty, repair, and maintenance at client locations. The role requires working independently and with project teams to diagnose issues, complete repairs, document work, and communicate status to clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in construction, facilities maintenance, field service, or a similar trade-based role.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction, repair, and maintenance processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools and general repair work, including carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing and electrical, doors, hardware, and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Service & Warranty Work: Perform service, warranty, repair, and general handyman work at client locations.
• Customer & Client Relations: Respond promptly and professionally to service and warranty requests; communicate findings and status to clients and internal teams.
• Job Coordination & Documentation: Organize and manage assigned work, coordinate materials and equipment, document labor, materials, photos, and findings.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure work meets standards; follow safety procedures and report issues promptly.
