Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site service, warranty, repair, and maintenance work at client locations in the Tampa area. The role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with project teams.

You will diagnose issues, communicate status to clients, and document work while ensuring safety and quality. Travel to various job sites is expected as needed by projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in construction or facilities maintenance.
• Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout Tampa area.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, warranty, repair, and general handyman work at client locations.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine whether work can be completed on-site or requires a licensed trade.
• Complete minor carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs; basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Repair doors, hardware, fixtures, cages, and kennels.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for each assignment.
• Document labor, materials, photos, findings, and completed work; escalate scope changes when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, hazard-free job sites.
