Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician on a 100% schedule, based in Michigan or nearby states. You will travel 4 weeks at a time, returning for a week off, and lead component replacements with a focus on safety and reliability across multiple equipment platforms.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, training site personnel, and producing reports and procedures. Must have a year of technical experience and a valid license.

Qualifications

• One year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) or technical education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and operations support.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs across platforms.
• Document inspections and complete daily/monthly reporting.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
