Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the company fleet. The role requires traveling in 4-week intervals away from home, working outdoors in all weather, and training site personnel in safety and maintenance procedures.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in renewable energy systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license is required and lifting up to 100 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders; lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across Invenergy fleet.
• Lead site personnel in safety, maintenance, and operations activities.
• Perform major component replacements and repairs on equipment platforms.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting; revise procedures for replacements.
