Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. The role requires travel in 4-week bursts away from home and return for time off, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, training site personnel, and safety compliance.

Must reside in eligible states (including Oklahoma). A technical year of experience and a HS diploma are required, with the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanical or electrical technical experience or related education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel 4-week intervals away from home.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand functions of multiple equipment platforms.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports; complete daily and monthly reporting.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure activities align with Invenergy policies and procedures.
