Job summary

CAREL USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel and provide technical support to our refrigeration controls customers. You will troubleshoot complex refrigeration systems in large retail supermarkets and humidifiers, leveraging your HVAC/R background and knowledge of controls.

The role requires up to 75% travel, strong problem-solving and collaboration with sales, engineering, and operations, and the ability to respond to customer calls when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or Electrical background with HVAC/R experience troubleshooting large retail supermarket systems.
• 4–5 years of HVAC/R experience is a significant plus; computer literacy required.
• HVAC/R or ASHRAE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service large refrigeration systems in retail supermarkets.
• Provide technical support and guidance to contractors/OEMs.
• Travel up to 75% and respond to customer calls when not traveling.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations on product definitions.
