Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a skilled field technician to troubleshoot, install, and service pumps, motors, and water systems at customer sites. The role involves travel to locations, on-site diagnostics, and ensuring reliable operation of equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of field experience. Occasional overnight travel and lifting heavy equipment are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with possible endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year of field technician experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to a week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair equipment by traveling to customer locations.
• Provide troubleshooting and installation of equipment.
• Attend to customer needs as required.
• Confirm equipment is functional after service.
• Provide phone support for troubleshooting when needed.
• Deliver onsite services for individuals and organizations.
