OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to fix and maintain rotating equipment, perform start‑ups, and complete service reports, ensuring reliable operation for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong mechanical aptitude.
• 3–5+ years of experience in rotating equipment repair, maintenance, or field service (preferred, not required).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting (AC/DC).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and respond to after-hours service calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly/disassembly of rotating equipment, including pumps and motors.
• Install seals and packing, and recommend repair solutions based on equipment condition.
• Execute equipment start-ups and commissioning for industrial and water/wastewater systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, gearboxes, motors, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair basic mechanical issues to maintain reliable operation.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Tighten tolerances and perform precision alignments to support equipment reliability.
• Work directly with customers to explain findings and recommend solutions.
