Job summary

SRS Distribution is seeking a Service Technician in Seattle, WA to remove, repair, and reinstall customer pumps and equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and document work orders to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and knowledge of pumps and electrical equipment. Overtime, potential bonuses, and company benefits support a stable, field-based career with training

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate required equipment.
• Basic math skills including fractions are required.
• Basic knowledge of pumps and electrical equipment is necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Remove, repair, and reinstall customer pumps and equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on customer equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, evaluate, and repair pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Read exploded views, O&M manuals, and parts lists from pump manufacturers.
• Document work orders with pump/motor details and parts needed.
• Operate, program, repair, and replace VFDs and related electrical components.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean worksite.
