Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an experienced service technician to troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units and electronic POS systems at customer sites in Alabama. You will install, program, and test petroleum equipment and perform preventative maintenance as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of hands-on repair experience with dispenser units, plus dispenser certifications. Travel and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License with good driving record.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
