Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an experienced service technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gasoline dispensing units and electronic POS systems, with ongoing training to advance your career in the petroleum industry.

You will work outdoors in all weather, travel locally, lift 50-75 lbs, and communicate clearly with customers while resolving complex technical issues for varied fueling systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair of electronic POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
• Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
