Job summary

JF Petroleum Group in Birmingham, AL seeks a Service Technician to install, repair and maintain fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, and site controllers across service stations. You will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with computer operations. Gilbarco or Veeder Root certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state and federal safety rules followed.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record required.
• Familiarity with service station electronics and basic computer skills.
• Certification from Gilbarco or Veeder Root preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain & repair fuel dispensers and submersible pumps.
• Service station site controllers, credit card readers, and cash registers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues.
• Work safely, observe OSHA/EPA rules, and document actions taken.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and assist with start-up/commissioning.
