Job summary

Bobcat of North Texas is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to perform inspections, diagnose failures, and repair components in the field or shop. The role requires independent work, strong mechanical skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning repair methods, pre-ordering parts, maintaining accurate records, and delivering high-quality service to customers while representing the company professionally on every job site.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working as equipment technician.
• Spanish speaking is valued.
• A technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.
• Prior experience as a field service technician preferred.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to determine cause of failure following established guidelines and identify the cause.
• Repair machine components in the field at high quality levels.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned.
• Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.
• Perform the repairs in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure repairs are completed and cosmetics meet standards.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain records for time, parts, and purchases in repairs.
• Report records daily from the field and maintain tools and vehicles.
