Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to perform service, warranty, repair, and maintenance work at client sites in the Tampa area. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, document work, and communicate findings to clients and project teams.

Two or more years of hands-on experience in construction or facilities maintenance are required, along with proficiency with hand and power tools and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in construction, facilities maintenance, field service, or similar trade-based role.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction, repair, and maintenance processes.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and general repair work including carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing and electrical.
• Strong troubleshooting, time management, and independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to Tampa and surrounding areas as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, warranty, repair, and general handyman work at client locations.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and determine repair approach.
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical repairs.
• Repair doors, hardware, fixtures, and related components.
• Coordinate with project teams and document labor, materials, and findings.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized job sites and communicate with clients.
