Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution equipment across North America. You will work hands-on with transformers, breakers, switchgear, and relays while delivering exceptional service in the field for Sunbelt Solomon’s Power Solutions Group.

The role requires reading one-line diagrams, using industrial test equipment, and traveling locally with periodic overnight assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Skilled in the use of industrial electrical test equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and drug-screen requirements.
• Physical capability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 lbs., operate tools, and use required PPE (arc-flash gear, fall protection, respirators, etc.).
• Eligibility to work in the US without need for employer sponsored VISA (work permit)
