Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician to join our Electrical Power Services team. You will safely install and test electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory, traveling about 25% of the time and working both independently and with a crew.

The role includes recording data, evaluating test results, preparing field service reports, and coaching Level 1 and 2 Trainees and Assistants to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• NETA 2, 3, IV certification or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.
• Experience in testing and installation of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior technicians.

Job description

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA 2, 3, IV or equivalent experience) to join our Electrical Power Services team. The Electrical Field Test Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory. In this role, you will travel approximately 25% of the time, working both independently and with a crew, and handle the performance and management of routine, moderately complex, and complex tasks and projects, record-keeping, evaluation of test data, and preparation of field service reports. Additionally, Level 3/IV Technicians will be responsible to coach, mentoring, training, developing, and supervising Level 1 and 2 Trainees and Assistants.

Position Summary

Pay: $45.00-$60.00. The pay listed is the base hourly rate + plus available paid overtime.
