Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician to join our Electrical Power Services team. You will safely install and test electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory, traveling about 25% of the time and working both independently and with a crew.

The role includes recording data, evaluating test results, preparing field service reports, and coaching Level 1 and 2 Trainees and Assistants to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• NETA 2, 3, IV certification or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.
• Experience in testing and installation of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install and test electrical power distribution equipment for customers.
• Record-keeping and evaluation of test data.
• Prepare field service reports.
• Coach, mentor and supervise Level 1 and 2 Trainees and Assistants.
